Hi, my name is Buck, and I'm a 100% Black Lab. When I'm not busy doing
something important, I like to play fetch with my master. I live on a ranch so
I have plenty of room to run and check things out. I don't chase rabbits, cause
I'm not suppose too. My Master didn't teach me this, My parents did, something
about some genes they had, they were great hunting dog's. I was six weeks old
when my master took me away from my parents and brothers and sisters. The last
thing I heard was, Don't chase Rabbits. If you ask me, it kinda spoils my fun, we
have lot's of them out here.

Well, I gott'a tell ya, I do lots of things around here, I pick up the TV Remote if
it drops on the floor, and put stuff in the garbage . My master showed me how
to put paper and things in the garbage can, but I did the Picking up the remote by
myself. It happens a lot around here, sometimes, it's my wonderful tail that knocks
it off the chair. I'm also a good watch dog, nothing goes on around here that I don't
know about. Like when the UPS truck comes here, I can put him back in his truck
fast. I also like the Phone man and PG&E people, or anyone else that looks suspicious.

I gotta tell ya about this. My master has diabetes, and sometimes it's bad. One day
we were out back just fooling around, and my master started to feel bad, he got real
weak and couldn't hardly walk. I knew something was wrong. Well, I figured this out,
his Glucoses dropped very low. It took a little while to get to the house, then he had to
get up the stairs. When we got to the top, my master opened the door and fell on the
floor, There happened to be a note pad and pin on the coffee table right where he fell.
He managed to write Help on the pad and handed it to me and said go find Mom. She
was way out back in the greenhouse, good thing the door stayed open, anyway, I run
fast out to the greenhouse and took the note to her. She come back behind me and found
my master laying on the floor. Good thing she knew what to do. She gave him some Jelly
Beans, but it took a long time for him to pull out of  the fix he was in. I even got some jelly
beans to calm me down. I really like jelly beans. Well, somehow the Red Cross found out
about it, They made me a big hero. Every year the Red Cross has a "Hero's Award show".
I got all kinds of Awards. Then the TV News crew came out and spent an hour taking my
picture with a great big Camera. I was on TV for Three days. Boy, this sure was fun. Now
that I'm a big TV star, My master has to feed me with a Spoon right out of the can. Now
I eat just like my master.
